Data We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide our service:
- Account information: Email address and name when you create an account
- Order data: Order numbers, customer names, carrier information, and item lists you enter
- Photos and videos: Media you capture to document order packing
- Timestamps: When captures are created to provide verifiable proof
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to:
- Provide order documentation and proof services
- Generate shareable proof links for dispute resolution
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Improve our service and fix issues
- Communicate with you about your account
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Photos and videos are stored in secure cloud storage and retained for 30 days from capture date, after which they are automatically deleted.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate BagProof:
- RevenueCat: For subscription management and payment processing. RevenueCat processes your payment information but we do not store credit card details.
- OpenAI: For OCR (optical character recognition) to help read order information from photos. Images sent for OCR are processed and not retained by OpenAI.
- Supabase: For secure data storage and authentication.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time

Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary:
- Account data is kept while your account is active
- Capture media (photos/videos) is deleted after 30 days
- If you delete your account, all associated data is removed within 30 days
